tunnel vision

I think our struggle is not so much between good and evil but between good and Better. To identify priorities, stay focused and not let things that matter most be at the mercy of things that matter but least. Tunnel vision requires a lot of consentration and I really feel the pressure. Far be it from me to say what should matter most in your life right now. Dilemmas are oppurtunities, not a matter of right and wrong. The choices, options and possibilities are endless. It's not about 'finding' ourselves, we are 'creating' ourselves. My energies are scattered when I multi-task then I don't feel like I do anything well. In this season of my life I want to follow through with my bliss (purpose/calling) and actually complete something with singleness of heart. Say NO to 'good' things.

Thank you for saying hello. Your photography page is one of the best I have seen on the web. I hope to find your hfpe group next. I would like to compare notes.

Mckenzi, the hfpe group is not a page like homemaking cottage. Although, I have submitted ideas and nights to Shiloah to use on her site. It is a group of women all over the country who join and share their ideas of the nights they have done, or they petition the ladies for help and ideas. It was an awesome group before the change went to quarterly. When we had it monthly. We did so many themes it was awesome. Now that it is quarterly, it isn't as fun or as theme oriented but the services still are met. I believe it is HFP_Enrichment@yahoogroups.com

The requirement was to join and share and then you could glean from the files that are stored on the site. Not to join and glean and then leave the group. Since the changes have come about for enrichment the group basically runs itself. I have been out of the calling for about 5 yrs now but still keep the group running and just do administrative services there.

Hi Chrys, I know hfpe is a discussion group. I found you yesterday.

I have a lot of notes to share on the individual group discussions. Now I am interested in helping your group search how to organizing quarterly nights and themes.

I like your mug shot on the beach with black shirts. It has a 'rock chick' feel.

Oh yes, it's much harder to choose between better and best than good and evil!

It is hard to choose between good and better. There are so many choices of how to spend our time & I like the picture that goes with this post because it reminds me to make sure what I am focused on is strengthening my family...even if that means taking a Saturday to myself & making me a better mommy & wife!

This is true. Always strive for the best you can, and you'll have a good life. Even things that seem bad can be learning experiences.
